Carpet under router

Ok, I finally got to it. Chris told me about the speaker box carpet under the router about 6 months ago. I finally got around to it, and (http://maplered.com) took the time to put it under the sector. I did a 4cm full bullnose on blue pearl and (http://maplered.com) purposely let the chips get all over the top. Went back and (http://maplered.com) forth 3 times with router, there was Granite (http://tanbrown.org) chips all over the top. I figured I want to find out now if this thing is ever gonna scratch. Guess what, not one scratch. This is a fantastic thing, no protection needed!!!!!! Forget about the aquaplane and (http://maplered.com) roller bases, order the cheapest one, and (http://maplered.com) put some $5 walmart carpet under it
